Founding Partners

Gospel Missions International (GMI Church) was jointly-founded in November 2005 by Yato Adeyemi, Peter Tometi and Emmanuel Uba.

After seeking The LORD with prayer and fasting over a period of several months for a passion and burden for souls and the Kingdom of God, The LORD answered by confirming to all three The Vision to start this work! Since that time, all three have worked and continue to work seamlessly with a unified purpose in preaching the Gospel, doing the work of the Ministry, caring for the flock, and glorifying The Lord Jesus only!


Pastoral Team
GMI Church is truly privileged to have a team of Spirit-filled anointed ministers, who are humble Servants of God, dedicated to glorifying The LORD and feeding the flock of God, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock. [1 Peter 5:2-3]. "For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake" [2 Corinthians 4:5]. As subordinate Priests under The Lord Jesus Christ our High Priest, we have relinquished leadership irrevocably to The Holy Spirit, and we will only do as He directs! Our Pastors believe firmly in the entire Word of God, and deliver powerful un-compromising faith-lifting messages based on sound doctrine from the Scriptures each Sunday at Phoenix Impact Center. Each message is usually accompanied by a powerful ministration to the sick and afflicted, and a call to Salvation for the unsaved!
