All About Jesus
From Genesis to Revelation, The Bible (God’s written Word) declares Jesus Christ as The Beginning and The End, Alpha and Omega, and Possessor of everything in between.
Our primary purpose and focus is to glorify and exalt our Lord Jesus Christ (and none other), to win souls into His kingdom, to bring deliverance through His Name to all that are oppressed of the devil, to promote a community of genuine love, faith, righteousness, peace and joy, and humility before The LORD, and to continue building on the foundation laid by the apostles and prophets, until we all come to the unity of the faith, and attain the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, and Christ be fully formed in each one of us. [Ephesians 4:13], [Galatians 4:19]
For we preach not ourselves (nor anyone else), but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. [2 Corinthians 4:5-7]
May we take a moment to introduce to you this Jesus Christ whom we preach?
He is the Almighty God
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. [Isaiah 9:6]
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. [1 Timothy 3:16]
He is Lord and Creator of all
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the Church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell. [Colossians 1:15-19]
He is exalted far above all
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all. [Ephesians 1:19-23]
He is the One and Only Savior
This [Jesus Christ] is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. [Acts 4:11-12]
I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no Savior. [Isaiah 43:11].
He is the Chief Cornerstone of the Church
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone. [Ephesians 2:19-22]
His Church is built On the Revelation of Who He is
He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou...for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, that… upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. [Matthew 18:15-18]
He is coming back for a glorious Church
...Even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. [Ephesians 5:25-27]
To know Him and believe on Him is Eternal Life
And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. [1 John 5:20]
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation [Romans 10:9-10]
Will you trust Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior today? If you are already a Believer, will you surrender completely today to His Lordship over your life? God bless you as you make this life-changing decision today!
